Andrew Briseño grew up in South Side Fort Worth, Texas. A graduate of Subiaco Academy and The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, he received a PhD from the University of North Texas. He is Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
